Q. Do you supply food and drinks onboard?
A. We don't supply food and cold drinks you must bring your own. For diving and all day deep sea trips we do supply tea and coffee but on our shorter trips it is at the skippers discression.
Q. Where do we park?
A. There is plenty of parking around the harbour, it is best to look on google maps to give you a better idea. The long stay cheaper parking is on the cove which is about 15 minutes walk to the boat landings on the pier so make sure you leave enough time as the boats can't wait on the landings and you may miss your trip if you are late.
Q. Do you accept credit/debit cards in your office on the sea front.
A. Yes we are the only charter boat company in Ilfracombe that takes card payments on the quay as well as online. We advertise discount codes on our website, look at the banners at the top of the pages. By booking online you can save upto 15%.
Q. Can we keep our catch?
A. We generally encourage catch and release but you can of course take what you would like to eat for the BBQ. The crew will even clean your catch if you ask them nicely and time allows!
Q. Are we guaranteed to catch?
A. There is a reson its called fishing and not catching!! Our skippers and crew have years of experience and will take you to the best spots avaialble based on the sea conditions and the tide. Sometimes these conditions will mean that our top spots are not accessable and on the odd occasion the fish might not be playing ball. Please dont think that a financial commitment means you are sure to catch your dinner, it is likely but not guaranteed.
Q. Why are no kids prices shown on the website?
A. Kids and adults are the same price so we just show adult prices only. Just enter the number of people in you party as adults and book online to save as it's more expensive if you book at the quayside on the day.
Q. Do we need to bring rods and tackle?
A. No, we supply everything including mackerel bait. If you want to order more specialist baits then these can be supplied just let us know before your trip. All you need to bring is food and drinks and of course sun cream!
Q. Do you take individuals?
A. No we don't we only take full boat charters to Lundy due to the large overheads involved with running the trips. There are companies who book trips regularly with us and allow anyone to join there groups. You can even do training with them and hire equipment. Drop us an email and we can can put you in touch.
Q. Do you hire equipment?
A. No we don't as we only take qualified people and we expect people to have their own equipment. The local BSAC dive club will hire out cylinders for a small fee. This can be arranged through us.
Q. Do you take unqualified divers?
A. No we don't. Anyone wishing to dive must be qualified and have carried out UK sea diving before coming to Lundy. We are not a training school and people need to be able to dive before coming to us.
